Summary
Sokka is asked to go to the Fire Nation to teach the crown prince how to sword fight. When he arrives, he's surprised to learn he has to pose as a companion before he can teach the stubborn prince because he rejects every teacher. Far from home and among new customs, Sokka struggles to gain the prince's trust and friendship despite the uncertainties of the customs and dynamics he sees. As he slowly finds answers to his questions, his bond with the prince grows until it becomes something far more ardent than friendship. Doomed as it may be with the prince's approaching wedding ceremony and coronation, Sokka and Zuko find themselves consumed by what they find in each other.

Merlin felt the golden light fade from his eyes as he looked to Arthur, who was standing mere meters away from him. He didn’t even have to look at the King to feel the expression on his face.
No sooner had he looked to the other man; Merlin had frozen on the spot. It was as if the world had stopped at their feet and that he and Arthur were the only two people standing in it.

Ever since the distant death of his father, Merlin has been the introvert, big-city boy, burying inside his video-games and puzzles and other loner, nerdy, intellectual activities. But this summer his mother decides to send him away from Ealdor to the beautiful yet dying rural region of Camelot, which Arthur hopes to restore to the glory of his own mother’s time. Somehow the two of them and two more friends end up on a train trip all over the region, which promises to change a lot more than it initially intended to.
