Summary
It was the summer of 1989. The final summer before the Party went their separate ways towards their long roads of forgetting all about what went down in Hawkins. Will was readier than anyone else to get away from that god-awful place and rid himself of the memories.
Unfortunately, he hadn’t planned on being dropped at Castle Byers, circa November 6th, 1983- the day he went missing.
Not only that, but he wasn’t alone.
He was trapped there, in an alternate universe, with Mike Wheeler.
An alternate universe exactly like their own- just set six years earlier.
He didn’t know how exactly they got there, but he and Mike both knew that they had a purpose.
That purpose?
Stop Will from going missing, then destroying the Upside Down, so that everything that went down from 83-87 never happened at all.
It sounded easier than it was, even with the knowledge of how to destroy it.
Because, apparently, destroying the Upside Down wasn’t their only reason for being there…

Summary
When the Byers move to California, Will is lonely, bullied, and struggling with his mental health. When Mike comes to visit, he notices that something is off, but doesn’t know what’s wrong or how to help while his best friend feels so far away even though he's physically there. However, maybe Mike finds the answer after they are brought closer than ever after El is abducted by the government and they end up facing capture, interdimensional monsters, torture, the past, their own feelings, and attempting to prevent the apocalypse. (Post-s3, rewriting s4, and predicting s5).
