It’s kind of like meditation, he rationalizes.
The guided ones from those woowoo YouTube channels never do anything for him, but this gives him a blessed reprieve in a way no medication or breathing exercise or mantra ever has. It could be categorized as mental self care, even.

Viktor reads Jayce's notes carefully. Jayce's heart flutters. Viktor's eyes flit up to Jayce's with a look that Jayce can't quite place.
"You want me to…probe you?" Viktor's face is so carefully neutral, but the hint of disbelief in his voice betrays him. Jayce's nerves twist.
"If it's too much—"
"No!" Viktor interrupts. Jayce raises an eyebrow at him, and watches as a slow blush creeps into Viktor's cheeks. He clears his throat. "Do not misunderstand me. It's not too much, it's…" Viktor flips to the front again, studying the diagram. "It's quite robust." There's a twinkle in his eye.
Jayce feels his face grow hot to match. He reaches to grab the notebook. "Never mind."
Viktor pulls his hand back, keeping it out of reach. "Jayce."
Jayce freezes. Jayce recognizes that tone. Viktor's eyes seem to scan over him now in hunger.
"You would like this?"
Jayce nods.
"I would like to experiment on you then." Viktor moves closer, crowding into him. "I will analyze every movement, ever shiver and moan." Viktor smiles. "Is that alright?"
"Viktor," Jayce nearly groans. "Yes. Please."
