Summary
Echo has never felt so alone. He has lost everything that has ever seemed 'normal' to him, and now he doesn't know where he belongs anymore. He is so different from all his brothers in the 501st now that he doesn't quite feel at home with them anymore. When he meets the Bad Batch, he hopes that things will be different, but after a while, he starts to believe that he doesn't belong with them either. Maybe it would be better if he just left them too.
The members of the Bad Batch start to notice that their newest recruit is acting strange. He rarely sleeps, barely talks, is distant toward them, almost as if he doesn't feel like they want him there. But, how can that be, when they are so thrilled to have him on the team? Surely he knows how much he's wanted, right?

Summary
The Bad Batch is sent to rescue a young Jedi before the mysterious Inquisitors and their black-masked master can reach her. The Jedi and the rest of Clone Force 99 escape, but Echo is captured by the Empire.
Deep inside an Imperial Star Destroyer, Echo is questioned by a dark force-wielder named Darth Vader who will do anything to capture his prey.

Summary
It had taken time, but Echo finally felt that he belonged with the Bad Batch. They were his teammates, his brothers. He’d never expected to have family again after Skako Minor, so he had no intention of letting it slip away.
Now if only he could understand Crosshair, and why the team’s sniper/medic seemed to hate him.
