Summary
"How does Sunday at seven sound?"
"Perfect," Eddie manages around a tongue that he's certain is three times as big as it usually is.
"Great, I'll pick you up. Send me your address?" Ian smiles again, and Eddie thinks he might have a heart attack. He has no idea what he says in response, but it must be adequate, because Ian gives him a little wave and says he'll see Eddie on Sunday, and as soon as he disappears from sight, Eddie slumps back against one of the open ambulance doors, stunned.
"Huh. So that's why he's not dating May," comes Ravi's voice from behind him, and Eddie does not yelp. He doesn't.

Summary
Eddie is fluid, loose-limbed and pink-cheeked with the top three buttons of his shirt undone and his feet are matching the steps of the rest of the crowd on the dance floor with zero hesitation, and Buck is—
Buck is mesmerized. Captivated. His stupid drunk eyes won't leave the line of Eddie's torso as he steps and spins and grins, and so Buck is helpless to do anything other than keep tripping over his own feet, three, four, five steps behind, distracted by the music and the shine of sweat on Eddie's cheekbones.

Summary
Something's going on here. And Buck sure isn't helping, what with his incessant gazing out the window to where he can see Hen and Eddie collapsing into giggles in each other's arms, Hen grinning widely and Eddie now stripped down to his tank. God, his arms are huge, now. When did that happen? And why didn't Buck notice sooner? Why did he have to notice at all?
Things were way better before Buck realized he wanted to sink his teeth into his best friend's biceps and lick the sweat off his neck and eat him out until he cried.
(Or, Chris notices something off about Buck and calls him out on it.)

Summary
"Ididn'thateit," he admits in a rush. There. He said it. The guy—Zane. Right. Zane's eyes had flicked over to him, appreciative. Appraising. Unsubtle. Brazenly obvious as he'd checked Eddie out, and Eddie's belly had gone hot, his skin crackling with electricity, and he'd gulped at the shockingly intense physical reaction his body was having and could think nothing except for I need to get out of here.
He has no excuse. No explanation.
"Oh," Buck says. "I didn't, um. That's—that's cool, if you. Do you, or, uh. I won't call them, but if you want, I can give you his number?"
"No," Eddie says, too fast.

Summary
Shane definitely doesn't look okay. As he heads to his still-made bed, Hayden catches a glimpse of his eyes. They look bloodshot and strained, and as Shane tears through his duffel bag and grits out, "I'm taking a shower," Hayden hears the rasp in his voice.
"Shane."
"What," Shane snaps, yanking off his shirt. Then he freezes, holding onto it with both hands like he's only realized what he's been wearing, and says with equal vehemency, "Fuck," and flings it toward the headboard. "Fuck!" He says again, louder.
(Or, Shane gets back to his hotel room after running away from Ilya's place in Boston and panics. Hayden is also there.)

Summary
“You slammed the front—never mind. Nonissue,” Buck says, then refocuses. "Are you okay?”
“Yeah,” Eddie nods: sincere enough that Buck is no longer anxious; frantically enough that he doesn’t believe him for a second.
Which is the right call, because Eddie proceeds to shake his head not even five seconds later.
“No,” he amends.
Buck is the one to nod, then: just the once, pointed and slow. “So,” he chimes, “those are opposites.”
Or: Eddie shows up in Buck's kitchen with a question.

Summary
Buck freezes, staring wide-eyed at his wall as though with enough conviction he could render it transparent. On the other side, Eddie lies in bed, unaware his phone is still connected, still broadcasting sound through Buck’s speakers. Where he’s awake, where he's watching—
“Such a gorgeous fuckin’ mouth, fuck—”
—because Eddie wants to— or he’s trying to…
“Suck on it, yeah, like that, suck it up—”
Belatedly, Buck realises he’s already on his feet. Compulsion has coiled around him like a silken leash, tugging him out of his bedroom and down the hallway towards the guest room.

Summary
Chimney is Theo's favorite adult. Even though Eddie is Buck's best friend. Even though Theo is Buck's...he's Buck's. And Eddie is also Buck's. So surely by the transitive properties of Buckliness, Eddie should get something.
Theo has a favorite adult. It's not Eddie. Eddie feels normal and sane about this.
