Summary
The following accounts were retrieved from the private papers of Dr John H. Watson, by his daughter Rose in 1932, four years after his passing. These other, more intimate stories of his relationship with Sherlock Holmes, were not published in his lifetime, and they were intended to be burned. Instead, Rose hid them, thereby keeping them preserved until they could be published in a more accepting time. Now, thirty four years after her own passing, these stories can see the light of day.
