Summary
Homura was finally living a normal life, having fled to Portland. Everything in Mitakihara reminded her of Madoka, making her almost nonfunctional, which was not what Madoka would have wanted. In Portland, she tried to enjoy her hard-won peace. Then Mami appeared, bringing with her fragments of the past, glimpses of the future, and a millennia-spanning conspiracy that threatens to swallow Homura whole. At the center of it all is a woman who should not exist: Madoka.
