Summary
The woman looked aghast as she stumbled onto the bench beside him, hand over her eyes in what seemed to be physical pain. Yeseo panicked, wondering if he might have said something so wrong as to merit such an extreme reaction. This was the first time he had ever spoken of this aloud to anyone—not even Wilhelmina herself (he certainly had not yet mustered the courage to)—so to prompt a stranger like so did not fill him with confidence at all.
“What… What is wrong? Is it not a good plan? Are you alright?”
“You are a child,” the woman mumbled deplorably, leaning back as far as she could against the backrest. “You are really nothing more than a child…”
“I am six-and-ten years of age,” Yeseo argued weakly, but through the gaps of the woman’s fingers he could see her shooting a most wretched glare, and so Yeseo obediently shut his mouth, hands folding into his lap.
Queen Christanne Venetiaan by the Grace of God and Lord Werner of the Most Noble House of Sneijder are officially betrothed.
Grand Duchess Judith Kamminga, collateral relative of the Venetiaan Royal Family, does not approve.

Oh my god oh m God my babies (I love them)
(1) Yoichi folds his hands as if in prayer, closes his eyes, and says, “Itadakimasu.”
Michael, who is halfway to biting into his cheeseburger, puts it back on the table. Not really knowing what he’s supposed to do, he mirrors Yoichi’s gesture and mutters, “Amen.”
Yoichi opens his eyes, surprised. “Amen?”
Michael regrets even opening his mouth. “Didn’t you pray to Jesus a moment ago?”
“Jesus…” Yoichi repeats, thinking for a second. “Oh! No, no!” He waves his hands in front of Michael. “I don’t, I don’t. Eat.” He grabs a handful of fries and looks away, ashamed.
Michael presses his lips together nervously. Why is he such a creep? No one has ever taught him manners, but until today he never thought it was a problem. Now, being around someone so gentle and well-raised, he feels he doesn’t fit in at all. He can try to mimic certain behaviors, but they won’t cover his true nature. They won’t hide the fact he’s just a yahoo.

(7) “I think I can share my second biggest dream with you now.”
“Why so suddenly?” Michael asks.
Yoichi sighs. “I just feel it’s the right moment, okay?”
Michael realizes Yoichi is waiting for his reaction. He shrugs. “Okay.”
“I want to play football with you. On the big field.”
The feelings that come to Michael with Yoichi’s words can’t be formed into the words. He tries to meet Yoichi’s gaze, but the boy stares forward, at the field.
“Quite a big confession, Yoichi,” Michael says playfully.
“I want to play football with you on the big field,” Yoichi repeats. “And then surpass you.”

(17) “So following this thought, in the game where I’m the protagonist Kaiser is another boss I have to beat.” Isagi frowns. “Do you think I have any chance?”
“What can I say…” Hiori crosses his arms. “In the end, each boss in the video game was created only to be defeated.”
Isagi gets really serious. “I want it. I want that ‘metavision’. I want to crush Kaiser with his own weapon.” He starts writing in his notebook intensively.
Hiori supposes this notebook is now just one big Michael Kaiser Bible. Or rather the palace where Isagi can visit Kaiser and try to dethrone him.
Hiori watches him, frightened. He can’t deny the thought that has been staying in the back of his mind since yesterday.
It’s not just analyzing a rival. Hiori would go even further—it’s not even analyzing an enemy.
It’s an obsession.
Until now, Hiori hoped it’s still just about football. But no.
It seems Isagi has a new hyperfixation that isn’t football.
And it’s called Michael Kaiser.

(18) “Don’t you think it sucks?” Yoichi asks, watching Michael’s hands. They are not smooth like other boys’ their age. That’s why he finds them interesting.
“Being weird?” Michael keeps his gaze down. “Kinda. But as long as I can be human, I don’t see anything wrong in being weird.”
Yoichi blinks, taken aback. “As long as you can be human? But you’re human. You look like one.”
Surprisingly, Michael snorts. “Nice. Glad to hear that, you football weirdo.” He starts dealing the cards.
A beat.
“I don’t really know what it means to be human,” Michael admits, almost casually.

Kaiser turns his head, looking around. Ness passes the ball to him. He receives it.
Yoichi's memory comes back again to Marco’s words.
“Your movements are subordinated to your desire to win his love, right?”
There it is. The last piece of the puzzle. His weapon against his sensitive senses.
I want to be loved by you, Michael.
Silence. Finally, he reaches peace again. The monsters are gone.

An uncomfortable quiet washes over the room.
That name again. Kaiser’s heart thumps wildly in his chest.
Yukimiya’s voice is the first to break through the tense atmosphere that has washed over the gym. “So- Isagi, when you say Mihya, do you mean him?” He asks, pointing his finger at Kaiser. “You still remember Kaiser of all people?”
“Of course,” Isagi smiles sweetly. “What kind of a wife would I be if I forgot my own husband?”
