Lance gave up the chance to make a difference by giving up the Red Lion. He gave up his chance to be a hero. What he wants now is just to go home. He'll protect Earth and his family from the Galra as best he can when he gets there. That's his top priority now.

That was his only option at this point. He was being driven to the brink of insanity. Sure, Keith has always had an innate ability to worm his way under Lance’s skin and throw a party all over his nerves. Ridiculously, he had also been making Lance’s neck feel warm and his boxers a little too tight since they were in the Garrison.

After five years, Malfoy had finally escaped house arrest, and he moved in just a few streets down from Grimmauld Place. Overnight, the Daily Prophet seemed to fall in love with him. For his charity work, and his charming smile, and—Harry was sure—his prattish fucking personality. No matter how hard Harry tried, he couldn’t stop running into him.
Harry had bigger problems, though. His best friends in the world were having a baby together, which was fantastic, except that they weren’t sure Harry could hold it together well enough to be Godfather.
But despite Malfoy being flat broke, with a dead dad, and no one willing to risk hiring him, he appeared to be completely in control of the narrative surrounding his newfound freedom. Maybe Harry could learn a thing or two from the best of the best.
After all, he had the entire pregnancy to convince Ron and Hermione that he was perfectly, entirely, 100% fine. If sometimes he had to fistfight Malfoy about it, well, that was nothing new.
