“Some do not get to make choices,” the words are infused with something grim that Hyunjin cannot recognize, something that twists his insides and fills them with rocks. The navigator holds his breath. “In the face of death, could you blame me for choosing life?”

Summary
"You always say I can tell you anything," Hyunjin says, dropping all pretenses of being busy with Chan's hair as he leans deeper into his leader's personal space.
"Of course," Chan nods. All he can do is tilt his head back, neck aching, to look directly into Hyunjin's dark eyes.
"There is something I have been keeping away from you, hyung,"
"Oh?"
"I really wanna kiss you," the drumming of his heart is defeaning, war drums signalling a battle he has already lost. He can only look up at Hyunjin, knuckles white where he is gripping the material of his jeans and wide eyes. "I feel like if I don't kiss you right now I will die."

“I asked you a question,” the artist presses, his fingers cruel like claws as they close down on Chan’s chin and force him to maintain eye contact, shaking his head for good measure just so he can have all his focus on him and only him.
“I was think-thinking of you,” Chan confesses, his ears red and hot and all Hyunjin can think about is how they must feel on his tongue. His chest explodes, pride and possessiveness mixing and intertwining like vines and taking his heart hostage.
“Yeah, Channie?” the younger breathes out, letting go his chin just slightly so he can hold his throat instead. He smiles, completely delirious as moves Chan’s hand from his waist to his ass with his free hand, pressing against it like a bitch in heat. “Was my hyungie thinking about my cunt even though she was all over you?”

Summary
“Ah, there he is,” the boy speaks, his voice soft like silk, smoothing over him like he is being covered on a stormy night. Peace floods his body, and all his worries vanish. “My saviour, my knight in shining armour,” he continues, voice bordering on a song. Chan is enchanted. He takes a step closer, eyes still fixed on those slanted eyes.
“My name is Chan,” is all he is able to mutter, unsure the boy even heard him. His eyes round for a second like they are recognizing him, before taking his own step closer to the prince.
There is still distance between them, a whole window keeping their bodies apart, yet Chan feels warm. The background noise has disappeared, and so have the castle’s walls. In this space, only the two of them exist.
“And mine’s Hyunjin.”

Crown prince Chan is saved from drowning by a mermaid, only to later find a half-dead boy that has been washed ashore. When he decides to save him, entranced by his beauty, he is not prepared for what the mysterious boy is about to unravel in his life and in his kingdom.
