He looked back once again to make sure he was keeping his distance and then turned down another hallway that was to his right, and burst through a set of doors that led to a room. His bat came up instinctively, ready to strike, as he came face to face with someone. At first he thought it was an infected but his eyes widened at who was standing in front of him with a knife raised.
“Kacchan?” Izuku questioned. Of all the people to randomly bump into, it had to be him. He lowered his bat and stared at the man.
“Deku…” Katsuki called back in disbelief before lowering his weapon also. Katsuki looked Izuku up and down in one swift motion. “The fuck are you doing here?”
“I could ask you the same question.” Izuku said, swiftly moving past Katsuki to pick up an empty table to barricade the doors he just came through. There was an awkward silence that fell on them both, neither knowing what to say to each other.

Izuku's interruption is met with the clicking of a tongue, the rolling of red eyes. "The hell is it now?"
Freckled fingers are quick to interlock and squeeze each other tight.
"I don't believe you," Izuku admits.
A blond brow rises.
"It sounds good- great, even, but…" green eyes fall, losing themselves in the heather-grey of Katsuki's tee. "It doesn't sound like you mean it-"
"What if I did?"
Izuku, distracted when that same tee inches closer, blinks. "Did what?"
"Mean it," Katsuki says, voice husky and far too close. "What if I did?"
When he looks up, a coal-glow smoulder singes the evergreen of his eyes.
"Then you need to make me believe it."

Katsuki blinked. Read the words. Read them again.
“…what the HELL?!?!”
Pops of light flared around him, and Shinso took a wary step back.
“WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCKING HELL?!”
Izuku was making a wheezing noise that sounded vaguely like a tea kettle.
Todoroki frowned as he read the headline over their shoulders, and asked with his usual even inflection, “You had sex while on duty?”
Katsuki fucking exploded.
Life is looking up for Katsuki in the months since Izuku received his hero suit. He’s soared back up the ranks to number five, he’s got a new car, a new apartment, and he’s chasing Deku’s heels once again. Even with the nerd turning down his agency invitation, working together is everything he’d dreamed over the last eight years.
