And, He has to fight off pack bond urges, because there is no way this rag team can possibly see him as a packmate... right? And his Dad's schemes only make things more complicated. And, from a whole universe away, Peter Parker learns what happens when he pays the debt Tony was meant to to save everyone. What happens when Peter falls through a tear in the sky and is given a second chance at life in a completely different universe. The possibilities are endless, and the changes are jarring.

    A few weeks after Shroud is dealt with, Robert gets a rather odd call and for some reason just goes with it. Now he's got a teen from another dimension hanging out with him. And living with him. And trying to get him to take care of himself. (Ew.)
    At least the team likes him, and he likes the team.

    Peter might have been handling things a bit weird, but come on. He was not only taken from his known dimension and dropped in a new one, he was also plucked from good old NYC and dropped in LA of all places. Sure he could have tried to figure stuff out by himself, but an old half remembered mention of a cousin in the LA area had him latching onto the notion of connection. Even if it was a distant cousin. VERY distant...

    Here’s the problem: Grace has a soulmate.
    His soulmate is looking for him. Would be great, if there wasn’t a big pay check attached to it.

    “Tom Ryder, Hollywood’s favourite playboy, seeking soulmate to settle down.”

    But Colt had told him “oh yeah, Gail is basically forcing him to do this for the publicity. She thought a grand love story behind the scenes would create hype for the movie.”
    And the soulmate would receive quite the hefty check for staying silent and being professional arm candy.

    Because, apparently everyone fussed over that Gosling guy and his soulmate wife. The fans need a new “perfect” couple to become scarily parasocial with.

    Grace is not about to be a freaking pay check.
