Maybe it has something to do with Kacchan laying across the leather couch above him, seemingly completely uninterested in the conversation. Kacchan, who he is absolutely lusting after and head over heels in love with. Maybe he wants Kacchan to see.

    Momo and Jirou share a meaningful look, having a conversation with just their eyes. Momo whispers something in her girlfriend’s ear and Jirou chortles back. “I really don’t think he could.”

    “Could what?”

    Jirou levels him with a challenging look, just what he was waiting for. “Make a lesbian come.”

    Izuku isn’t depressed. He’s moved past the point in his life in which he believes his symptoms could possibly mean something. Even when it was “believable” or “acceptable” for him to be depressed, he just knew that he shouldn’t be. So especially now, when everything in his life has gotten better and he’s so close to reaching his goals, he can’t be depressed.

    Izuku stood in the middle of a street he didn’t know. Ten feet in front of him rests an eighteen wheeler truck. By the green light, and the speed limit sign, this truck could easily turn him into a smear on the windshield. But it couldn’t, because it was frozen. Everything was frozen. 
    Everything except Izuku.
    “COME ON!” He screeched at the sky. “DO IT!” Izuku was begging. Tears streamed down his face, a river of sorrow, his arms spread wide beside him. “DO IT!” He cried again. “I FUCKING DARE YOU!” 
    But nothing happened. 
    Nothing happened; the truck never moved, the sky didn’t move, the birds didn’t fall from the sky, and time never moved forward.

    OR: Izuku's time quirk manifests extremely late, and he is frozen in time, alone, for far too long. Can he find his way a home he needs, but doesn't think he deserves?
