Summary
The first step to becoming an Animagus is to hold a Mandrake leaf in your mouth for a full month. The trouble is, it's very difficult to speak clearly with a leaf adhered to the roof of your mouth (especially when you're trying to hide it from your best friend.)

Summary
Remus' nights were always haunted with nightmares. But that changed when he fell asleep thinking of a man he had never seen before, and slept on peacefully until morning. Suddenly, his mind was plagued by a person of his own creation.
Sirius preferred painting over sleeping. That is, until he dreamt of honey coloured eyes and angular hands. From that moment forward, the paintings seemed to take inspiration from the imaginary person in his head.
Two souls, two imaginary comforts, one universe pulling them together until it's not so imaginary after all.
//
Or, where Remus and Sirius start dreaming about each other until they meet in real life.

Summary
Ever chivalrous, while tagging along on his best friends’ honeymoon, Sirius decides to cart himself off to northern Germany and offer them a few days of complete privacy. While away, though, late at night in a bar on the edge of Eutin, he hears of an old oak tree with a knothole for a letterbox. An old oak tree storied to bring soulmates together.
And, well...six ill-considered glasses of wine later find Sirius face to face with the Bridegroom’s Oak, climbing its ladder to poke a tipsily-composed mess of a letter through the hole. Call it a whim. Call it a momentary lapse in judgement. Call it a drunken tale to be forgotten about come morning.
And forget about it, he does.
Or, at least, he does until six weeks on, back home in London, when he receives a letter in reply.
