Summary
It's time for a new hero. No magic hand, no ancient prophecy — the kind of person they'll never see coming. We've got your back — I've got your back — against demons, dragons, darkspawn...and even the Dread Wolf.
This is your story.
What happens when you don’t have power? When the people in charge don’t want to address the issue?
You take what you love about Dragon Age and rework the fourth installment yourself.

Canon takes a brick in the face by the name of Carver Hawke.
Or: The “modern character in Thedas” trope done a liiiittle differently. Maker have mercy on us all.
Or: I can’t find a fic where the transmigrated modern character in Thedas actually massively changes canon from DAO to DAI, so I write it myself.

Summary
It's hard to bring balance to the Force when the only method you've seen is your black-cloaked psychic cyborg sorcerer dad with a severe breathing problem throwing an old man down the Death Star reactor shaft. As much as Luke would like to see the not-yet-Emperor dead, he doesn't want to be arrested by his unusually attractive(?) war-hero dad and spend the rest of his indeterminate time in the past dropping Ewok beats in a jail cell. Also Leia would probably kill him. But not before breaking him out of jail.
So when the twins wake up on Tatooine decades in the past, they play it safe. They take over a planet, reconnect with their adoptive and real parents without weirding them out (too much), and accidentally cause the Chancellor perpetual near-death experiences.
Nailed it.

Summary
The boy can’t be older than Claudia, he’s probably her age. But he’s deceptively stronger than Federico expected. And there's more to him than he first expects... Why is he reading Uberto Alberti's mail when he's supposed to be delivering it? Federico is intrigued and wants to know more. But more isn't always good he finds when the kid accidentally uncovers a conspiracy out for his family's blood.
Desmond didn’t really know what to do at first when he arrived in 1475, a year before everything starts. He just roamed around Firenze for a while. He was young again. His body free of so many scars and so much pain. After a lot of thinking about pros and cons and what he could actually do as a fifteen-year-old in 15th Century Firenze without parents, he chose to become a runner, a mailboy. And perhaps if some of the Templars their mail gets lost or destroyed in transit, who's going to know it was him?

Summary
Vivienne reflects on Blackwall's revelation that he was Thom Ranier as she, Sera, and Blackwall ride out with the rest of the Inquisition to the battle in the Arbor Wilds.
She did, to a certain extent, deplore certain of Lavellan’s choices of companion, though she had to admit Sera had been a remarkable asset, when deployed carefully. Blackwall, on the other hand, had been a significant political liability. Executions had always been a cruel matter, and she could not fault the man for trying to prevent it, but since he was pretending to be a Warden, it would have been a far more reasonable action to continue dissembling and simply conscript the prisoner instead. It would have been far kinder to the Inquisitor who had given him a chance for redemption.
It was that which she found so unforgivable, and what she had been reflecting upon as they had ridden out of the gate.
