He starts to walk away, intent on curling up in bed with a book, when he hears Feyd's deep, dangerous rasp.
"Say that again."
There is an extremely long pause. The man asks, "What?"
"Repeat what you just said," Feyd prompts. "About my husband."
"I don't know what—I mean, I didn't mean anything by it."
"Which is it? You don't know what you just said? Or you didn't mean what you just said?"

Pleasure houses! A playboy! How intimate that cut was! Feyd-Rautha Harkonnen would be his husband, and Paul had thought him someone he could grow fond of—so, then, he had been content to wait for the alpha to join him on Caladan so that they could build their life together.
Obviously Feyd-Rautha was not content to wait! He sent Paul rote letters while resting in the perfumed arms of courtesans. As an alpha, he was allowed to do so.
And what was Paul allowed to do as an omega? Nothing, except to pretend to be as chaste in mind as he was forced to be in body and endure the discomfort of heats.
