Summary
Buck knows what he’s asking. It’s been days since Eddie last called, since he left Buck desperate and aching in his bed, and Buck hasn’t touched himself since. He didn’t do it consciously. Buck just hasn’t been in the mood—or maybe it’s because, at the back of his mind, he remembers Eddie telling him not to come.
Buck just has to wait for Eddie to come back home—he can wait. He can be good.

Summary
Eddie’s never had someone like Buck before. He’s never felt like this around anyone else, too, like his body knows he’s safe before his mind does. There are the things that are muscle memory: shoulder bumps and taps on the arm, the way Eddie keeps looking over his shoulder and being surprised that Buck is right there. Buck fills up all the empty spaces in Eddie’s life, if not his memories.
Eddie wakes up in Texas, missing eight years of his memory. He doesn't think anything is different until his best friend from Los Angeles shows up.

Summary
But going alone is like—it’s a death knell. And Buck is trying, he really is, but it’s Halloween. You can’t break up with someone on Halloween.
He spies Eddie walking up the stairs, totally focused on his phone. Eddie, who is also planless for the weekend barring some natural disaster or miracle of the prodigal son returning home. Eddie, who had gleefully been the Tubbs to Buck’s Crockett—because Buck is totally Crockett, okay?—without complaint. Eddie, who likes dressing up for Halloween.
or: Buck wants to do a couples’ costume, and Tommy doesn’t want to do it. Eddie volunteers.

Summary
“Are you serious?” Buck demands, furious that Eddie thinks this is the kind of moment that needs to be captured for posterity’s sake.
“Just a little keepsake, so you can see how insane you’re being about this.”
“You’re being a brat,” Buck grumbles. Half of him wants to bend Eddie over his knee and the other half wants to kiss him, and hmmmm… that’s something. He can dissect it later once his phone is safely back in his own grasp.
or,
After the breakup and the baking, Eddie helps Buck find a better way to distract himself.

Summary
Shane Hollander is a man who thrives on structure, routine, the solid ground of a ten-year plan. Ilya likes that about him, likes the embracing squeeze of having a life organized in tandem with Shane.
No one would call Ilya a man who thrives on structure. But it’s there, if not in his DNA then in the patterns of his brain. A call-and-response of: they do this, I do that.
When Ilya’s life is flayed open for the world to dissect, how will they push-and-pull their way back towards what was once a well-organized life?
“I thought we could go through the schedules and figure out what days we’ll be in the same cities this season, or when either of us have a couple of days off in a row. Maybe make a shared calendar, so we c—”
“A sex calendar? Your parents are arriving in thirty minutes, and you are proposing making a sex calendar?” Oh, this was delicious. He’d be able to eat out on this for years, if Shane was willing to give him that long.
“It’s not a sex calendar! It’s just … when we might be able to see each other,” he finished, already sounding defeated.
“And what are you planning on doing when we are seeing each other? Not fucking?”
