Summary
“My poor darling,” Lena says, teases. “Do you just go around licking anyone that smells like fruit?”
“No, I—I. Um.” Quiet. A steadying breath. “Now you’re just teasing me,” Kara murmurs, a dusting of red high on her cheeks. Lena’s delighted.
“First, you come into my home unexpectedly,” Lena says, and Kara whispers-justifies a quiet yeah, to cuddle, “and now you lick my neck. What’s next?”
Or, here's the thing: Lena has been in love with Kara for a long time. If Kara knows, then Kara doesn’t seem to mind.

Summary
"Would you kiss me?" Francesca asks the question before she can register how insane it sounds.
Michaela responds pretty much exactly how she expects her to: like she can't believe what she heard. Her head whips up, eyes as wide as saucers. "I'm sorry—what?" Michaela sputters out.
If the ground opened up right now and swallowed her, she would be thankful.
OR
Francesca thinks kissing is overrated until she kisses her roommate-best friend-crush, Michaela.

Summary
“And plenty of gentlemen seem to enjoy her as a dance partner.”
Francesca swallows, “I hadn’t noticed.”
“Of course not,” Benedict hums. “That murderous look in your eyes is unrelated then?”
Francesca’s murderous eyes find her brother’s then, and her top lip curls up in something dangerously close to a snarl. The Countess reduces her to a feral animal, unfit for polite society. “I am not her keeper, Benedict,” Francesca spits under her breath, “she can dance with whoever she chooses.”/
Francesca gets jealous watching Michaela dancing at a ball. She reminds her who she belongs to on the carriage ride home.

“Hi-“
“Do you want to have dinner tonight?” Michaela blurts. Her eyes are a gorgeous dark brown and Francesca gets lost for a bit. “Sorry, it’s just,” she pauses, “sometimes it feels like we lost the same person and I want to get to know you. Forgive me if that’s to—.”
It’s Francesca’s turn to interrupt. “I’d love dinner. I’d love to get to know you.”

Summary
As Mr. Finch and Mr. Dankworth began to extol the virtues of Taleggio between themselves, Colin leaned close to Francesca and asked in a soft voice, “You know that you may go if you are not enjoying yourself. I would not be insulted.”
Francesca smiled at him. “No, I find Mr. Dankworth and Mr. Finch to be very kind and ... entertaining hosts. And the cheese is quite nice. I just have a few things on my mind.”
“Like what?”
“Gift giving.”
Francesca asks her older brothers for help finding a special gift, but is being a little dodgy about who it's for and why it's so important. Several Bridgertons come together to try to figure out the mystery.
