“Well… I already told you, I don’t know.” Wemmbu mumbled. Lettuce was good at reading what he wanted, couldn’t he just use his brain today? Wemmbu was too drunk for all this complicated talk.
Lettuce didn’t respond though. Instead, he chewed on the inside of his cheek and stared at the cell wall to his right.
Fine, if Lettuce wanted to be all distant and aloof, then Wemmbu was just going to leave. Clearly, he wasn’t going to get whatever his subconscious drunk brain wanted from this interaction.
Frustrated, Wemmbu huffed. “I guess I thought that, maybe you’d want to see me too.”
He made it about halfway across the room however before Lettuce suddenly called out to him.
“Wemmbu— wait!”
