Kim Dokja has been in love with Yoo Joonghyuk ever since he met him in university. He knows it's a bad idea to convince him to be in a contractual marriage with him.
Kim Dokja knows Yoo Joonghyuk isn't in love with him. Yoo Joonghyuk has not moved on from his previous relationship. The knowledge doesn't hurt any less.
Kim Dokja storms inside their shared apartment, with Yoo Joonghyuk trailing behind him.
“Kim Dokja,” He calls out, voice filled with tones of exhaustion, and weariness, he let's out a sigh.
“You didn't have to agree to the contract you know,” Kim Dokja turns around to face him, and sees Yoo Joonghyuk's bloodshot, exhausted eyes, bagged with dark circles, and his soft, pink lips in a frown. “We can cancel the contract if I'm such a burden to you,”
“You aren't a burden-”
“And i know, I'm annoying, I'm loud, I'm not the most beautiful person, I argue alot, I'm heavily flawed,” Kim Dokja interrupts, hating the quiver and tremble in his voice, he can feel the tears forming in his eyes, “But despite so, i refuse to be a second choice,”
He is met with silence.

Hiccup was just that. A hiccup. No matter how hard he tried and fought he just couldn’t be who his father wanted. Who the village wanted. He couldn’t fight dragons, he couldn’t even fight off other kids his age. So when he shot down that dragon he had hoped that maybe he could do something right. Something to make his dad proud. The village proud. But, as always there was a hiccup in his plan. That hiccup just so happens to be a 26 foot long, 2,000 pound, Night Fury. No matter how hard he willed his hand to slice the dragon he just couldn’t. Not when his eyes had shown more understanding than his entire village. Now, Hiccup has a reason to leave Berk. A reason to make new someplace safer for him and toothless both. They deal with the Red Death quickly, using Gobbers forge to melt together a halfway decent leg, and finally finding a home with a new, safe, nest. He just didn’t expect to catch the attention of some dragon hunters who seem dead set on adopting him into their tribe. Hiccup just wants his family safe.
