Dennis had enjoyed that time, although they did get a lot of interesting cases. Jack had shared stories and Dennis had shared a few back that he felt he could tell without outing himself.

Summary
Trinity'd figured out the world was easier without friends somewhere around third grade, and she'd never looked back. (What was the use in even trying to make friends if other kids were never going to like you? She's got better uses for that energy.)
So, yeah. Trinity doesn't do friends. It's safer, and smarter, and Trinity's a lot of things, but she's not stupid. (Not anymore.)
