Donghyun receives a glossy, apple-shaped sticker with 'Leehan' written haphazardly on it, and the manager who'd passed it to him is beaming uncontrollably. He places a thick hand on Donghyun's shoulder and squeezes it, a fatherly smile on his lips as he looks to be holding back tears. "We did it, Leehan-ah. It's confirmed—your debut has been confirmed."
He stares blankly at the sticker for the next few minutes after their manager has left to congratulate another member, wondering if the strange mix of emotions pinning his heart down is more joy or dread. Silently, a warm figure slides into the seat next to him and bumps his shoulder playfully. "Cheer up, at least yours is better than mine."
Donghyun lets the back of his head touch the wall behind him and he turns to face his Sanghyuk hyung, who's already pressed his new name, 'Riwoo' into his worn-out white T-shirt with the laundry-stretched collar, right over the spot where his heart is. He finds the corners of his lips lifting into a smile, as they always seem to do when Sanghyuk is in his presence.
Right, Sanghyuk hyung is still here. And as long as he's around, things will be okay.
