The man fully stops in front of him, cheeks slightly flushed with an emotion Donghyuck can’t quite discern.
“Hi, are you Lee Donghyuck?” The man asks shyly.
“You’re really Korean looking for a man named Mark.” Donghyuck blurts.
Immediately, Mark bursts out laughing as Donghyuck prays to whoever is listening that a giant sinkhole opens up below him and takes him out of this ridiculously embarrassing situation.
OR: Mark and Donghyuck are virtual strangers, both in dire need of a new partner to get them through competition season. Now, all they have to do is learn how to skate together with the chemistry of people that have been partners for 20 years while simultaneously keeping it strictly professional because they do NOT have time for love...right?

Once all the champagne has been wasted on the floor, they stand together for more photo ops, both Mercedes drivers flanking Mark on either side. Jaemin leaned into the man, while Donghyuck was close enough that PR wouldn’t rip him a new asshole, but still far enough to not touch the man he considered to be the devil reincarnate.
Mark leans in imperceptibly to speak, “Get closer Sunshine, I don’t bite.”
Donghyuck responds without even sparing the driver a glance, “I do.”
OR: Mark and Donghyuck absolutely cannot stand each other. Especially now that they're forced to practice together ahead of the biggest race of the season. The goal is to not kill each other, and maybe, perhaps, they'll fall in love along the way.
