Summary
Trinity made her way to the bathroom, did her business, washed her hands like the well adjusted member of society she was, and exited the bathroom. Lost in her thoughts about everything she was trying to ignore she didn’t realise there was anyone in front of her until it was too late. Late meaning when they bumped into each other full force.
“Shit sorry I wasn’t looking”, Trinity automatically responded before she even looked up.
A honeyed voice responded, “No worries I wasn’t being very attentive either." Her voice caught her off guard fuck there was no way Trinity was thirsting for a voice. She looked up and met the eyes of her unfortunate victim. Fuck now she wasn’t thirsting only for a voice.

Or Trinity and Baran meet for the first time at a bar and their relationship spirals from there until eventually Baran gets a job at the Pitt and they end up trying to keep their relationship as under wraps as possible. (Trinity also becomes a mother to Baran's son (they're domestic af))

Summary
Three weeks after the end of a ten month situationship, Trinity Santos decides a change of scenery is exactly what she needs.
Unfortunately, her version of a change of scenery is transferring to night shift. Now her life consists of trauma alerts at three in the morning, Jack Abbot acting like he's won the lottery, John Shen committing crimes against coffee, Parker Ellis complaining about everything, Crus Henderson laughing at all of it, and Emery Walsh appearing with alarming frequency.
Santos tells herself she's starting over.
Walsh tells herself Santos is temporary.
Neither of them is remotely correct.
As shifts turn into routines and routines turn into something far more dangerous, Santos finds herself becoming part of the Night Crawlers and spending more and more time with the one person capable of matching her stubbornness. If Trinity thought her blood pressure had spiked when she saw the knife, the feeling that she gets when she sees Izzy in the doorway to the room Trinity had left is akin to the worst case of hypertension she's ever seen. She wouldn't be surprised if the veins in her eyes are bursting, sending ribbons of red spilling out across the whites.
Alex is beginning to speak again, his voice shaking but his tone firm and unrelenting. "I have to go—"
Trinity reaches out instinctively, unable to think about anything other than keeping Izzy out of his eyeline. "Alex! Don't—"
She doesn't see him pull out the knife. But a split second after he moves there's a sharp pain in her left arm, blood immediately welling up out of a slash across it. She presses onto it with her other hand, shying away from him in pain, her basic animal brain telling her to protect the injury.
This is the wrong move.
