The Ground Center is actually sick and tired of these two fighting, so Enjin suggested that they spend more time together out of the excuse of a guide exchange project. Zanka is very unhappy, but Jabber couldn't be more overjoyed to be around his most favorite "Average Joe." He's dead set on Zanka being his exclusive guide, and Zanka couldn't fathom any reasons to understand why.

For a Nijiku to die to Raider filth is embarrassing. For a Nijiku to die to a codependent? That's humiliating, even for the Nijiku failure. Their reputation is too costly to lose to a mistake like Zanka. So, Kyouka and Goka come back around to the Cleaners' HQ to do some resource management.

Gakushuu’s eyes wander back to the water, staring into the flowing currents beneath them. His traitorous mind whispers to him, leaning closer to the fall. But before he can stop it, a question already slips past his lips.
“What’s it like?”
“What do you mean?” Ikeda looks at him.
Gakushuu watches the water below, observing the foam on top of it swirling around, light as if it were cotton. A longing crosses his eyes before he looks away and sets his gaze on the horizon line in the distance. After a few moments, he speaks again.
“Drowning. What is it like?”
Gakushuu starts to continuously see a strange boy, who bears an eerie resemblance to his father’s deceased student. First, he chalks it up to a coincidence or his imagination, but after a while, the stranger confronts him.
