Summary
The man behind the counter is the most beautiful person that Ivy has ever seen. Despite the slight greenish purple bags under his eyes. Despite the razor burn and acne. Despite the soft lines in the corners of his eyes and the deep laugh lines that accented his cheeks.
He has long cherry-red hair in a plait, little pieces framing his angular face. What a pretty face. Pulled into a scowl, but Ivy is appreciative - if the man was smiling, there wasn't much that would stop him from dropping dead right then and there.
The man was an omega, proud of it - no scent dampening patches donning the side of his neck. Ivy wonders how many times a day people walk into the cafe just to have the same visceral reaction. He hopes it's not as many as he thinks it is.
--
Ivy is in his first week of his masters degree at the University of Anchorage and is disappointed by the lack of visibly and outwardly queer people in town. Metal-heads. Werewolves like him. Maybe he's the odd one out. Things take a turn when he stumbles upon Arcadia Cafe & Books - a pack-owned business that quickly becomes his third space and where his heart does indeed find itself a home.

ᛑᛗᛛ
III’s body reacted before his brain could catch up. His hand finding Vessel’s chest almost automatically, then sliding down to his side, fingertips dragging over ribs, waist, hip.
A silent worship of the perfect figure above him.
Vessel’s hand came up to III’s mask, fingers hooking under the edge near his jaw. Fingers warm, slightly damp with sweat, and they tugged at the mask—pulling him closer, tilting his face up.
III moved his fingers fast in an inviting gesture towards Vessel; come on, bastard, come closer, lay on me, take me, devour me for all I care.
