It’s 1936 and James T. Kirk is running away to join the circus. He wants more out of life than to live and die on a farm. Determined to still find wonderment in a desperate and bleak world he joins a circus only to discover it is on it last legs and being run into the ground. Loosing hope and finally coming to terms there is nothing amazing left in the world, he meets a side show performer with pointy ears that takes his breath away.
