Johnny Lawrence is not gay. He doesn’t fantasize about boys kissing him, boys pressing him down on the sand at the beach, whispering sweet nothings in his ear. He definitely doesn’t fantasize about said boys having big brown eyes and dark fluffy hair.
Or,
Johnny has an existential crisis after the All Valley Karate Tournament.

Summary
Thursday was not prepared for it—for the sight of Morse in an evening suit, a glass of Scotch in his hand, leaning in so as to hear over the music, hanging on Harry Rose’s every word.
So close. So close that the old man might reach up and light his cigarette. Or even trace his calloused fingers down to the base of that elegant throat.

Summary

It was a reprimand, yes, but so gentle, his voice so full of that low and brooding warmth, that it felt as if he had reached out with one rough hand and stroked his face.

Summary
"Is this how she felt?" Billy demanded, wrapping his hand around John's throat and forcing his head back to a sickening degree, nearly snapping it backward to look at him.
He had gone, perhaps, a bit too far with this, but he would be damned if he stopped now. He was drunk on it—the sweet catharsis of revenge and justice. Was it really justice, though, if the vengeance neared outweighing the original crime?

Summary
And Fred knew exactly where Morse belonged. With him. Maybe not here, maybe not exactly like this. But they belonged together. From the moment they’d met, they’d existed in tandem with each other. A planet and a satellite. He wondered who was who.
A spontaneous moment of passion between Morse and Thursday at the end of 'Pylon' ends up being more consequential than either of them could have imagined.
