What begins as a bittersweet ceremony for Yuu’s departure becomes a nightmare when Grim overblots. Kalim couldn’t help but feel irritable on his period..how could he not? The lethargy plus the cramps plus the dysphoria made his patience much thinner than one would expect.
Ruggie though isn’t intimidated by that, and somehow managed to break through the attitude by just being there.

It's Jamil's day off! For about two weeks, they've had a deal going - Kalim gets two days out of the week to be independent, and if he can manage that, maybe Jamil will consider letting him do more stuff by himself! Unfortunately, his body decides to have a flare up at the worst possible time, and he fails miserably at managing the previously mentioned independence...
He's going to lose this privilege, he's sure. Every time he tries to make Jamil's life easier, he fails.
He doesn't deserve autonomy. He doesn't know how to use it. He's no better than a pretty piece of china on a shelf - never to be used, only looked at.

Ruggie pushed himself upright with his palms, sitting cross-legged on the uneven concrete. “Okay, let’s try this again.”
He held out his hands to the boy, palms facing upwards, and the boy slid his own into his. Ruggie felt a tingle dance up his forearms at the contact, and he let out a snicker. “Step one, done. Now, for two—” he jabbed a finger to his own chest “—I’m Ruggie. Ruggie Bucchi. And you are?”
The boy simply stared at him with those wide, cherry eyes for a little longer before his gaze darted away, almost shy. “I’m Kalim. Kalim al-Asim.”

Kalim! Why are you doing this to yourself?” He said, an angry tone he didn’t notice he was using due to the gravity of the situation that still left some adrenaline rushing inside his veins. “You have everything you want, so why are you—"
Kalim didn’t even let him finish his lecture before moving his hands to the collar of Jamil’s sweater, pushing him to his direction untill they were standing on the same height, noses touching while both frightened scarlet and gray eyes stared at each other, so close they could feel the warmth of each other shaky bodies.
“Kill me, Jamil! KILL ME!!” He growled, shaking Jamil by the collar of his clothes back and forth. “Make this easier for you! Isn’t that what you want?! I know it is!”
Where Kalim and Jamil finally talk after the overblot, but not in the way they expected it to happen.
