He glares at Holly, but she just shrugs, forcing him to answer the phone with a blunt, "Who's asking?"
"I'm calling as a representative of the Arizona Police Department, Mr. March. There's been an incident which concerns your family."
"What?" March hasn't been to Arizona. Not in over a decade, and he's pretty confident that unless this woman is talking about a brief stint where he got into a bar confrontation in Phoenix in the 60s, or Holly's been up to some crazy shit without him knowing, she's got the wrong Holland March.
"Sir, am I correct in assuming that you were named by your sister as the emergency guardian for her children in late October of 1963 or not?" She exhales. "There's been an incident regarding the children's father, Mr. March."

Or: Things are finally starting to look up in Holland March's life. Until a call regarding March's estranged family, a murder case being obscured, and his two heavily-traumatised nephews, bursts that bubble. So much for normalcy.

Summary
Six is running on empty in more ways than one when he pulls into that gas station out west. He just wants to make sure he and Claire survive when he does the unexpected and says he'll take on the job as a ranch hand. It was a position offered rhetorically and out of frustration, but damn if he doesn't fit the bill of what you need.

Summary
Ryland Grace is the sole survivor on a mission he doesn't remember volunteering for. Alone on a ship scaled far too large for a borrower, he has to try to figure out why he's so far from home, and what he's supposed to do. On top of that, he needs to figure out why this mission is so prepared to have a borrower on the crew--standing at only six inches tall, it's easy to think none of this was meant for him. And yet, everywhere he looks he finds evidence that whoever built this ship built it with both humans and borrowers in mind.
An impossible task looms over him. A scientific mystery has somehow sent him hurtling through space, impossibly far from any other human or borrower, and it's on him to surpass an extinction-level threat that doesn't care how big someone is. It will end the world all the same if he doesn't do something about it.
But, despite what he thinks, he's not alone.

Humans get stupid when they get tired, and you are no exception. Grace & Rocky have noted a tell of yours, and take it among themselves to ensure you get proper rest, taking advantage of your own habit of making sure that *Grace* gets proper rest. You and Grace sleep together as of late, attributing some of the most restful nights to the warmth of each other.
While there is no kiss and no smut, this whole thing is physical, non-sexual intimacy. It's about as intimate as you can get without kissing or sex.

“Mr. March!” Principal Harrison admonished, “Language!”
Holland gave him an apologetic wince before he looked back at Holly.
“Holly,” he said, gentler, “Look at me.” He waited until Holly complied with his request. “Honey, did you punch Janet in the face?”
