Summary
September 1982
The war is over. Voldemort was defeated on October 31, 1981. Regulus Black discovered Voldemort’s horcruxes and informed the Order of the Phoenix, which destroyed them. When Voldemort arrived on Halloween to kill baby Harry, the Order was standing by, ready to kill him first.
Almost a year later, the Marauders and their friends are rebuilding their lives.
Everything is going well for Sirius Black.

Sirius Black, meanwhile, can’t understand why Cambridge’s weed dealer seems to hate him on sight. For the first time in history, he’s met someone immune to his smile - and Sirius has never reacted well to the word no.
A non-linear fic about class, prejudice and pride (no Austen involved), and the terrifying quiet after a joke when you realise no one was laughing. (Or: Wolfstar finally communicate. It’s a disaster in the best possible way)
