Summary
Tucked behind a backstage curtain, Tenna made himself comfortable within an alcove. Out of sight, yet within view of Mettaton’s musical number. Barely sang the opening lyrics, and the anticipation dared to short-circuit him. A shaky breath slipped out while admiring Mettaton. Oh, how he longed to nestle between those legs and discover what other melodies he’d sing. That thought set off a spark and begged him to do something other than idly spectate.
Despite his efforts and best judgment, Tenna caved in.
Tenna tries to restrain himself while watching Mettaton’s stage performances. It goes as well as one would expect.

They've played with the settings. My, oh, my, how they've played. Off again, on again, a little slip of Mettaton's fingers on that switch to cut him off just long enough to hear that strangled yelp and bring him back again.
The tricky thing is, they create an absence of. That switch has no advanced settings. No filters. It's all or nothing, which can only take them so far. There's nothing to fight against. They are there, or they aren’t there, and that's all there is to it.
It just won't do.
Mettaton wants him straining.

Perhaps this was a good sign. A step in the right direction and away from his downwards spiral of uuuggghhhh. Because the way Mettaton saw it, he now had one of two options.
One: retreat to the lukewarm comforts of a lumpy couch until he became one with the cushions and waited until the inevitable heat death of the universe collapsed onto him to finally end the soul-crushing boredom.
Or two: watch whatever the hell was on his newly acquired TV.
Alone and bored to death, Mettaton looks for a way to pass the time while the Internet is down. Good news, he does. Bad news... uh, it’s totally normal to want to kiss your recently acquired TV, right? (asking for a friend, haha...)

This fic is from the point of view of a female playable character in the game Facade. The intention is your character has always been in love with Grace, but ultimately let her be with Trip because it was assumed she would be happiest that way.
I literally haven't thought about this game in years but I listened to Chappell Roan's "Good Luck, Babe!" and this idea hit me like a truck and I had to write it out. I don't really care about these characters but I needed to get this idea out of my head and onto my computer so enjoy this really random fic!
