Summary
Living in the modern world is hard – paying bills with a shitty job, having to sustain yourself and even going to university takes a big chomp out of your savings. Bills were racking up and your job payed you the absolute minimum wage that they could. You were barely scraping by with about $230 left in your bank account and way too unaffordable spendings in a game you played daily – Genshin Impact.
If barely being able to keep you healthy was already hard, imagine having to – albeit forcefully – take care of eleven other people who seem to be... not the brightest when it comes to human interactions. They're pretty, most of them, but that doesn't make their murderous intentions better.
Do you think you can handle housing the Fatui Harbingers who – may I add, have so far had no intention of showing you any gratitude for your hospitality – or are you going to take the risk of throwing them out and, hopefully, making it out alive?

Summary

Once Zandik fully recovers and can take care of any impediments to his newest experiment, he knows he'll have to do something a bit contentious. It's been such a long time since he's had a subject to cherish, especially one so unassuming. He has no doubt she'll understand eventually. After all, what's a little discomfort between family?
DISCLAIMER: Damn, I quit Genshin almost 4 years ago, and this dude is still fkin fugly. I am writing this fic as a Dottore-hater-since-day-1 for my Dottore-lover-since-day-1 friend, because that's what friendship is all about (coping with her bad taste in men).
