Summary
Being trapped in the time room reminds Scarab of a previous situation he was trapped in. Suddenly, he can't repress it anymore. Then, he has a misunderstanding with Prismo and everything spills over.
"It wasn’t just the nature of his dream projection, but also the knowledge that his unconscious, defenseless body was just lying there, in the bedroom. Right next to Prismo’s body. Vulnerable and open for use. Practically inviting abuse with how lax and pliant he was. Sometimes he would go look at it, feeling a cold dread curdling in himself at the image of his own body, splayed out and susceptible. Accessible for anyone to have. If Prismo chose to… There would be no way to stop him in Scarab’s current state."
