“Yeah I’m okay, just a little tired I must not have slept well.” Peter responded, his voice rough from sleep. Pepper noticed Peter and waved him over for a hug, she pressed a kiss onto his forehead and felt the heat radiating from him.

“May, please don't make me go. I literally go there every week, multiple times a week; it's practically my second home.” Peter whined, trying and failing miserably to not have to go on the trip.
“Peter, it's a school trip. You have to go,” May said sternly.
“Not if you don't sign the permission slip,” Peter suggested.
“No, Peter. You're going on this trip; you don't have a choice.”

At this point, he’s wailing. Heartbreaking, gutwrenching cries.
Everyone suddenly understands so much about Peter Parker.

Post-Blip, Peter’s PTSD is triggered and he ends up revealing his identity to his Decathlon team, two of his teachers, and an entire cafeteria full of Stark Industries employees. Peter didn't think that the field trip could get any worse after he'd been mocked, targeted, and reprimanded, but of course, Parker Luck would never let him rest.

So, Harley was going to end up babysitting Morgan anyways, but Tony and Pepper had forced their teenager to stay home, much to Peter's dismay. Why? He had gotten the stomach flu.
With Peter’s enhanced healing, one of the powers that the bite gave him (along with being able to crawl up walls, which still gave Harley a pseudo- heart attack every time he saw it), it made his illnesses worse. Wounds, bruises, and things of that nature could heal in a matter of hours, or days in the most extreme cases. However, if Peter got even as much as the common-cold, the symptoms would be debilitating for at least a week.
So, with Peter out of commission, Harley was left to watch the four-year-old girl. And take care of his, allegedly delirious, boyfriend, who had been vomiting all day.
He can handle this.
OR
When Peter Stark comes down with an illness, it’s not a fun time for anyone. However, if his boyfriend, Harley Keener, is there to pick up the pieces, it might not be so bad.

“What are you guys doing for Christmas?” Ned asked over a video call the first night of break.
“Well my dad’s are seperated so I think I’m going to one house for Christmas Eve and the other for Christmas Day.” Peter was still bitter about his parents taking a break from each other. He knew it was probably needed. He couldn’t count how many times he had found them arguing at this point. He just hated he wasn’t with them both all the time.
“Peter! Your dad is here to pick you up!” Steve yelled from the living room of their apartment.

Two days ago, Peter had come down with the stomach flu, and had been stationed upstairs ever since. Tony's been looking after him while May's been away on vacation for the first time in years, and he knows how stressed Tony is about Peter and how much he cares for Peter like a son, and he doesn't-
He knows (or, thinks, anyways) that Tony doesn't really feel the same way. About him. Or at least doesn't act the same around him. Sure, he knows Tony cares, why would he have let him stay at the tower to look for universities if he doesn't, but...
He just doesn't want to be a bother, more than he already is.
