Ned time travel fix it. He lines up the north for success by beginning an export of medicinal herbs which r super valuable making a ton of money, finding the wall, making a castle on top of the herb exports and putting his brother benjen there, making a whaling town and populating w the wildlings to help combat the undead
He spends 20 years from when Jon’s born lining up his pieces. Jon is raised as benjen’s bastard to avoid catelyns wrath and the gold cloaks conspire to put him on the throne and train him from birth (Jaime Lannister, arthur Dayne, etc). He becomes beloved by the realm after entering a tourney and defending an ally who was about to be stabbed in the back.
Rob is betrothed to Marcella
Jaime an Tyrion spend their life in the north after Ned is kind to Jaime after he stabs aerys the mad. Jaime helps train the northern army’s and he takes up benjen/castle Lyanna as his liege lordLeaves off w Ned imprisoned in kings landing by Tywin, who’s apprehensive but cautious w neds warning that there’s an enemy building in the north
Jon is coming back to Westeros after befriending danaerys who’s queen of the free cities. Olenna just found about about Jon and is planning on silently backing the starks
