Summary
Reo never had to chase for anything in his life. Everything belonged to him, all was well. Anything he desired landed in his hands with flattery or a command. He never chased or got his hands dirty, he attracted all he wished for. Anything was attainable.
Or so he thought.
The idea of winning the world cup spoke to Reo like a siren beckoning a sailor off the shores. Sweet, sweet challenges promising freedom and joy. But if Reo were a lustful, blinded sailor, Nagi would be the torrential ocean, lulling Reo into a chase to tame and conquer. Nagi would be the misleading calm waves, hypnotising him with the illusion of an easy domesticated being, before swallowing him whole.
Reo failed to realise that the ocean was unconquerable. That his obsession with riding the waves would only ever end with the sea swallowing him whole.
