He glanced at Prosciutto, at the impossible texture of his skin, his eyes that seemed like the only real thing. Prosciutto opened his mouth and took a step closer. Reached out and Risotto wanted to take his hand, to have him touch his cheek, to feel Prosciutto’s hands on his face (again). He longed for it, longed to hear his heartbeat up close, to feel it at his wrist.
He longed for him, deep in his bones so he took a breath, took in the smell of decaying meat from the inside of the estate, the fresh soil, disturbed. Looked up to the sky, to the bird flying overhead. Took a step away from Prosciutto, from that false sense of knowing.

Summary
Risotto wants to hate her. Risotto wants to hate her with every fiber of her being. With every breath, with every heartbeat, she longs to hate her. Every twitch of muscle, every blink. Risotto wants to hate her especially when she opens her eyes and meets Prosciutto's gaze, hazy and awed.
Risotto wants to hate Diavolo for a lot of things, most of them have to do with Prosciutto in some capacity, but that’s a given.
The problem is, she can't.

Summary
Melone rarely dreams. He’s better off for it, probably. Ever since he got hit with the arrow his dreams are weirder. No longer dreams proper, more like memories of things that could have been. Things that never were but they were likely enough that his brain accepted them as reality, as a possible outcome. He dreams in numbers, countless ones and zeroes, and wakes up exhausted.
Sometimes he dreams in memories or what must be memories because it’s too vivid. Conflicting at times, but each one of those dreams is real in some regard.
He dreams of the feeling of hands on him, eager and hot. Surprisingly soft. Never gentle. Of cigarette smoke permeating the air, the dimly lit room and clean bedsheets, creased. He dreams of lips, chapped, on his neck, of teeth biting into the soft flesh of his thigh. Of skin sweaty and salty under his tongue, of the bitter taste of precum on his tongue.
He dreams of blond hair spilled all over the pillow, of blond hair on his clothes, of threading his fingers through them. It’s a different shade than his. Warmer. Golden.

Summary

With time to think, to get stupid ideas that wouldn't go away. Urges that come from some weird, walled-off part of himself. A part he refuses to get too close to the surface, a part that wants to be more than whatever he is for Diavolo.
Sentimental. Stupid. Naive.

The lines, thicker. Stronger. Chains are delicate, breakable and this is more. This is Diavolo’s ownership imprinting itself in her skin. She knows she’s beautiful but this, but now - now she’s Diavolo’s, with her touch, her ropes on her. She’s owned, owned and it’s perfect. She’s perfect, floating in Diavolo’s love, in the ghost of Diavolo’s touch, a touch that will stay with her.
