    “I’ve known you since Freshman Year. Nothing you can say or do can shock me anymore.” Rita pointed out as she took a large swig of her coffee.

    “I got Carisi pregnant.” Rafael blurted out.

    Rita Calhoun has never been a fan of babies. The maternal instinct had never materialized within her and she was fine with that. So when her best friend announces that he is going to be a dad, Rita knows that nothing will change that. She was not interested in babies or pregnancy or any of that nonsense.

    “The fuck are you doing back here?” Richie wonders politely.

    “Yeah, ‘cause I actually work here, fucko. When I’m here, I’m taking a break. When you’re here, that’s bein’ lazy.”

    Fak takes a quick break outside the restaurant. For once in his life, Richie decides to be a nice guy.
