Summary
Thorin Oakenshield and Bilbo Baggins have been parted for many years now, despite the love they bear each other. Only somewhat justified– since Ogre Rancorem really is a pain in the waist. Or by Salamanders forbid he forgets the time the blade has possessed him. Twice, even.
And yet, even through the harshest of arguments, Aldo still sees something with Rancorem.
The blade can feel something else other than wrath, after all.(or: An Ogre Rancorem character study, until the final tolls of the Edax Domain, in the style of unreliable narration, as cursed blades often tend to do)
