Summary
Wordlessly, Jeongin picks at the edge of the patch, then peels it back slowly, from under his jaw to just above his Adam’s apple, on both sides. As soon as the adhesive leaves his skin, he sees Hyunjin’s head tilt and eyebrows raise. Hyunjin’s chest rises, drawing a deep breath of the rich, dense coffee scent that pours from the slice of skin right under Jeongin’s jaw.
Jeongin watches as Hyunjin leans forward another few inches, far enough that he’s leaning over air, mouth slightly ajar.
“I love coffee,” he murmurs, almost to himself. His eyes space out just a little bit, getting a thousand yard stare.

Hyunjin looked around them slowly, taking in the sights. "You know, that's actually not a bad—"
He cut himself off, mouth hanging open like a fish as he spotted two people coming out of the lifeguard station, right next to where their towels were laid out. One of them was familiar. Chan's hair was slightly curly like it usually was when he'd gotten it wet, and his lifeguard uniform couldn't be missed. The person who stepped out behind him, however, he'd never seen before.
It was….the most beautiful person he'd ever seen in his life. And yes, he considered himself a romantic, however he'd never been one to actually believe in love at first sight. But…
He couldn't take his eyes off him, his arms and legs moving on autopilot to keep himself above the water, and maybe it was a good thing he wasn't on land right now because his knees would've surely given out. Though, he didn't think he'd mind being on his knees in front of him. Whoever he was.
OR: For Hyunjin and Jeongin it's love at first sight. Except Hyunjin refuses to make the first move and Jeongin takes a while to work up the courage

Summary
Jeongin presented late, and it made things kind of weird.
It’s cute when the maknae is fourteen and just discovering scenting and skinship and occasionally growls because they don’t know how to rein in all of their emotions yet. It’s significantly less cute when the maknae is twenty-two and gets thrown out of his hyung’s room at three AM because he was unconsciously dry-humping his leg in his sleep.
It’s especially not cute to be a late-alpha displaying puppy-levels of jealousy. Jealousy. It’s a typical alpha issue, but almost everyone learns how to control it before they’re old enough for it to be weird and off-putting—not Jeongin! He’s being both weird and off-putting, right now, at this very moment, as he stares at Hyunjin from across the room, hackles raised and nearly growling, all because Hyunjin is talking to someone else. Particularly, another maknae: Ni-ki.
