Summary
The day Harvey Dent and Bruce Wayne met there were no big revelations. Sure they were so young and can one really have the foresight at such a young age. Bruce’s life felt like it had already ended. Why would he look at the boy in front of him and think that he would be the one he would marry?
Despite what Bruce will later proclaim in interviews, it was not love at first sight. Harvey nor Bruce believe in such a thing. But there was something there. A seed for the love that will one day, years into the future flourish.

Bruce reaches out a hand to rub it in, then thinks better of it and points to it instead.
“I gave you a complete blood transfusion in Siberia.” Dick swipes at his cheekbone, affronted. “I think we’re past the point of being too shy to rub in a bit of sunscreen.”

Such a looker! The girls are going to be all over you one day, honey, just you wait. It was usually followed by a wink and a laugh, and Dick would laugh right along with them. The attention wasn’t any more of a hardship than the adoring crowds’ cheers were when the dazzling Dick Grayson landed a quadruple flip fifty feet above the ground. Everyone loved him, and he loved being loved.
