Summary
“Did you…” Yamaguchi’s voice breaks off, an octave or so too high. Not the best reaction, all things considered. Kei adds the miso last, stirring the soup until it comes together in a familiar, cloudy haze. Yamaguchi tries again, his voice much too low this time.
“Did you… move into my apartment today?”
Kei turns the last burner off, putting the lids on top to keep everything nice and warm. He wipes his sweaty palms against his pants, then walks back to the bedroom where Yamaguchi is sitting on the bed in nothing but a towel, staring, stunned, into his closet where Kei’s clothes now live side by side with his own.
“Surprise,” Kei deadpans.

Summary
Even if Kei never summons the courage to be honest with him about how he feels, if he never cares for him the way he’s always cared for him, Yamaguchi likes him. Yamaguchi will stay for the rest of his life.
But Yamaguchi has been around for Kei’s entire life until now. He was so cute smiling around his beer that Kei let him get this drunk.
He deserves more than that.
Or: Two times in Tsukishima's life that he realizes what Yamaguchi is to him.

Summary
Yamaguchi’s always known a little bit about this kind of feeling; he’s seen all the movies about it, watched dramas with his mother, and while a part of him thought it was nice, it also kind of eluded him, why people went so crazy about it. Still, even though Yamaguchi never really yearned for it or anything – the only thing Yamaguchi’s really ever yearned for on television is being the black Power Ranger – maybe there’s something nice about it, finally getting to feel it.
But then again, Akiteru’s trying to make small talk with him right now and the inside of Yamaguchi’s chest is about to implode, so. Yamaguchi isn’t really sure.
