Summary
OC Jo is rescued by Negan after being badly injured while escaping from a pack of walkers. He takes her to Alexandria for medical care, where she reveals a dangerous secret to him that has the potential to end the world as they know it. The pair become fast friends, but as her apparent bond with Alden and baby Adam grows, Negan has to make a tough decision. Struggling to cope with her dark past and daring to hope for a brighter future, Jo is soon forced to choose a path for herself.
This story picks up at the end of season 10, but Negan had stayed at the cabin rather than returning to Alexandria.

"So how long have you two been married?" Julie asked, looking between Margot and Mitch.
"Four years," Mitch said before Margot could answer. His hand found hers on the table and squeezed. "Best four years of my life."

"Mm-hmm." Her hand felt trapped under his.
"That's so sweet. You don't see that much anymore."
"Well, when you find the right person..." Mitch trailed off and squeezed her hand again.
The right person. Right.
Margot reached for her wine with her free hand and took a long drink.
"What about you, Negan?" Julie asked. "Where's your wife tonight? You two have been married for a while, haven't you?"
"Home sick, unfortunately." Negan leaned back in his chair. "Nothing serious. Just caught whatever's going around. But yeah, married. Ten years next spring."
"Ten years! That's wonderful."
"Thanks." His voice had gone lower. "Yeah. Ten years."

Summary
You teach Home Ec at the high school where Negan teaches P.E. Ordinarily, you wouldn't have much reason to interact, but Negan has a unique way of sealing the deal with his weekly conquests. On Mondays, he texts you his order for a baked good worthy of his Woman of the Week. On Thursdays, he picks the order up, and presumably on Fridays and Saturdays, he reaps the benefits. Rinse and repeat. Your side hustle as a smalltime baker is going pretty well for you until things get complicated.
