He freezes, staring across the table, his beer inches away from his lips. “What?”
Leon’s expression turns into something he doesn’t particularly like, and something in his stomach twists.
“Do you think I’m hot?”
What feels almost like some kind of malfunction whites out his brain for a moment, and his mouth is open for far too long before he can piece himself together enough to dredge up a reply. Leon watches him silently the entire time, but he doesn’t have the mental capacity to worry about that as he considers his response.
“I don’t…I don’t know. Leon, I’ve known you since we were kids.” He finds it more difficult to speak, heart rate picking up as he sets his beer down and runs a hand over his face, the cool condensation a minor relief against his heated skin.
“Answer the question."
When Leon is left heartbroken by an ex, Chris finds he's the one Leon relies on to help pick up the pieces. But by doing so, their blossoming friendship might turn into more than he'd ever expected...

Chris stares, his mind working to catch up. Leon had first approached him about trying this a while ago, and they’d done it a handful of times for fun since. Looking at Leon now, though, he knows this time will be different, and he tamps down on a flare of uncertainty.
“How long do you wanna go?” he asks, wanting to confirm, to make sure it’s really what Leon wants.
There's a flicker of hesitation on the other's face, but it's quickly gone and replaced with heated determination.
“Until I can’t take it anymore.”
After a tough mission, Chris tracks Leon down and helps him work out his frustrations (via edging, obviously).

Summary
S.T.A.R.S. operative Chris Redfield is a private person at the best of times, but he's even more private about his sexuality. He's determined to excel at his first solo case. The only problem is that he's supposed to be going undercover as a gay guy, and he's definitely 100% straight. He could really use the help of someone in the community to navigate this new world. Unfortunately, he doesn't know anyone who's gay.
