He could still sense Louis' thread, so at least he was alive. Armand's was permanently cut off from him but he had hope Armand would heal faster than Louis. Being older and his injuries being lesser, he hoped Armand would rise in a few days from his healing slumber. Hopefully with his eye intact again.
