Summary
When Zanka skips their usual fight-date, Jabber decides to take matters into his own hands. If the fight won't come to him, he will go to the fight!
This turns out to be a terrible decision.
What starts as harmless teasing quickly becomes a heated battle of stubbornness, bruised pride, and entirely too many feelings. Unfortunately for Jabber, Zanka seems determined to see right through him. And he wants something: He wants jabber to beg.

Summary
“I’ve got to get ya a heater. Ya can’t live like this anymore,” Zanka went on, his nose pressed firm against Jabber’s collarbone, his warm breath washing right over the bone.
Jabber went still for just a second, taking in the words, and immediately decided that he hated the idea. He did not say it out loud; instead he stayed quiet, wishing in his head that Zanka would not take that plan seriously, and would not show up one of these days carrying that thing in his arms. He did not want to take the risk. He was not willing, not under any circumstances, to lose the magic of these moments.
For Zanka, Jabber would take every ice-cold bath in the world without a single complaint. And he would keep bearing the lonely weekdays, shivering under piles of heavy blankets and aching for his touch — because he knew that emptiness was exactly what made every reunion feel so right, so perfect. The cold was the perfect excuse, the exact setting that forced Zanka to hold him like this, to cling to him as if his life depended on it.
Jabber still doesn't have hot water.

Summary
It hits him with sudden clarity — he’s just excited to get home. It hasn't even been a full two days and he yearns to get back to the smell of incense and arguing voices and getting tickled on his neck by tasseled earrings.
Enjin lets out a breath, and lights up a cigarette now that he’s actively not dying. He lets go of the smoke peacefully, before almost flipping the car off the road from how hard he jerks.
Enjin realizes he's whipped.

Summary
Shame eats Zanka from the inside, disgustingly biting and tearing him from the inside. He’s a disappointment to everyone, mostly to his family. He’d been only been swallowed up by his thoughts of self deprecation.
Just until someone had found him to shake him free from his train of thoughts.
