"Roy?" Beard bends at the waist, leaning forward as far as he can and twisting around to peer at Roy's face instead of just taking a step like a normal person. "Next match you're going to hack off all their left feet with a rusty bread knife and feed them to... whom?"
"Fuck," Roy says, still shooting daggers in Jamie's direction. Jamie glances around the room, hoping for a clue, but the rest of the team look just as confused as he is.
Beard stays bent up all weird, because he's that sort of nutter. "What's up?"
Roy shakes his head, scowling. "Nothing. Just realised I'm in fucking love with Tartt. Christ, I am not in the fucking mood for this shit."

Summary
The reaction in the dressing room is about what he was expecting. A few back-slaps and congratulations. A side-eye from Isaac, which he'll need to deal with later. Most of them are avoiding eye contact, probably just because they're scared of saying the wrong thing, but there's no telling for sure. All in all, it's not the most fun Colin's ever had in his life, but it's not that bad. Could have been worse.
Then Roy Kent kicks in the door and announces, "I've had sex with men and I fucking liked it, no regrets, and if anyone's got shit to say they can say it to me and not to anyone else. Is that fucking clear?"
