“Can’t help you with that,” says Al-Haitham.
“Incorrigible,” Kaveh spits out, retracting his hands and standing in his full, furious glory. “Ridiculous. You are such a brat, Haravatat.”
“Hm,” Al-Haitham says, and then he turns another page in his book.
Al-Haitham keeps hiding Kaveh's keys. It's not funny.

Summary
“Tell me what’s on your mind,” Alhaitham prompts.
He doesn’t want to. He would rather eat his own hand than give Alhaitham more ammunition against him, but what choice does he have? Racking his brain for solutions has turned up nothing. If he doesn’t ask for help, Ebeid and Hilmi and the others will never get their library. His dignity is a small sacrifice to make for their education.
“If I tell you, you have to promise not to ask any follow-up questions.”
“That seems quite impossible. When it comes to you, I always have to clarify.”
Kaveh ignores the slight and lowers his voice. “I need to borrow some mora.”
Kaveh runs into trouble when he agrees to help build the library he designed for Aaru Village. If he and Alhaitham can fix the problem, perhaps they can mend their relationship in the process.

Summary
“Can I try some?”
That’s rare. Kaveh didn’t think Alhaitham would be interested in Kaveh’s choice of breakfast food. “Uh, sure. Let me get you a spoon.”
Kaveh tries to get up, but before he can even push his chair back, Alhaitham’s hand reaches towards him. It happens so quickly Kaveh can do little more than gape and watch as Alhaitham snatches the spoon from Kaveh’s fingers, scoops some yogurt onto it and pops it right into his mouth. When it emerges again, it’s licked clean, not a drop left behind.
“Not bad,” Alhaitham says, offering Kaveh his spoon back. “A little sweet.”
Kaveh takes it, (almost drops it from how sweaty his fingers have become) and tries his hardest to get his vocal chords to start working again. “I… told you so…” he says weakly, staring at the spoon and then at the rest of his yogurt.
Five times Alhaitham unconsciously invades Kaveh’s personal space and one time they finally talk about it.

Summary
“Kaiser,” Isagi is the first to break the silence, words so quiet it’s almost a whisper, “It’s so pathetic that you don’t know how to swim.” But there’s no bite, no venom behind Isagi’s words this time, only an unrecognizable softness. Kaiser doesn’t know if he should be surprised or not, but his face contorts from comfort into annoyance.
“Next time, just leave me to drown–”
