Don't listen to the title I’m lying to you. This is angst? Yes.
So basically this is very dramatically describing our dear Harlequin remembering and regretting a lot of what he did in the past.
It is very regret heavy. Includes his heavy feelings and thoughts on it.
Again, apologies if you don’t know the lore, you can still very much enjoy this, just might need to use some deciphering skills out more!

Summary
Harlequin does not get nearly enough love, and by love, I mean suffering.
- Choices born from desperation led to bad endings. It was what got him stuck in that horrible place to begin with. Columbina's sacrifice was another such choice, born from desperation. He saved them all, and they hated him for it. Perhaps it should have been him, instead. -
Planning for this to be three chapters with the ringmaster, then two in more modern times. No idea if I'll actually finish this, I guess we'll see. I really have no idea what people like in this fandom, I'm still pretty new to it.
Most of the trigger warning tags are only applicable to later chapters.
Anyway, let me know what you guys think!
Also if you see a spelling error, feel free to point it out, I'll do my best to fix them.
